Our in-home community outreach provides your family with highly trained professionals. We offer individualized support and care for individuals diagnosed with Autism and various special needs. These visits focus on promoting independence, building life skills, and providing personalized attention and guidance.

 Individualized Support Plans

                 Our Individualized Support Plans creates customized support plans for each individual, taking into account their unique needs, goals, and preferences. These plans serve as roadmaps for the provision of targeted services and ensure that the care provided aligns with the individual's specific requirements.

Classroom Support Service

Blue Blanket Classroom Coaches collaborate with childcare providers to assess the classroom environment and identify specific behaviors that require just a little more support. We work together to develop individualized behavior plans that are tailored to each child's needs. These plans may include strategies such as visual cues, social stories, or consistent routines to help children understand expectations and navigate social interactions. 

Family Support and Education

Recognizing the importance of family involvement, Blue Blanket Columbus offers support and education for families. We provide resources, workshops, and family support to help families better understand Autism and special needs, develop effective strategies for caregiving, and navigate the challenges associated with these conditions.

Community integration

Our community Integration services aids in the integration of individuals with Autism and special needs into the community. We facilitate social engagement, participation in recreational activities, and inclusion in community events, promoting a sense of belonging and acceptance. 

Advocacy and Referral services

Blue Blanket Columbus advocates for the rights and needs of individuals with Autism and special needs within the community. We assist families in accessing additional resources, such as medical professionals, therapists, and educational programs, by providing referrals and guidance.
